NFC North Predictions

NFC North

We shall start with my favorite division. By the way, I also will be having my co-analyst doing some articles with me.

What I think will happen:

1. Bears-11-5

This is my genuine reaction based on their schedule. They have an easy stretch at the beginning that allows them to get an early 4-0.  And the rest of the opponents aren't very hard at all. Their defense is really really good and got better with the offseason additions of Jaylon Johnson through the draft and OLB Robert Quinn through free agency. We don't need to talk too much about that. However, the offense might hold them back. Competition always brings out the best in people, so that is going to be very helpful. Their O-Line looks better and it should now have continuity because everyone knows where they are going to play for certain. WRs and TEs are set and they are finally going to be good.

2. Packers- 10-6

The Packers don't have the hardest schedule in the world. It's almost in line with what the Bears have. I just have them losing one more game because their defense was prone to giving up big plays, and the front office really didn't do much to help it out. ALSO, their offense might change schemes to a run first offense with Aaron Rodgers at QB?????? He has been doing magic with Davante Adams for a few years now and they are going to struggle a little because of the offense. Either because it will take time to get used to the new offense, or they didn't really add any new good WRs.

3. Vikings- 7-9

They are going to struggle a teensy little bit on defense at first because of the current situation and Mike Hughes isn't exactly the lockdown corner he was drafted to be. Jeff Gladney looks very promising though. His tape is pretty clean, although he might occasionally get walled out by bigger WRs in the NFL. I don't see a strong or proven slot corner on their roster, and that concerns me because of the way the NFL has evolved. Their offense probably will be fine with Alexander Mattison though (Dalvin Cook might hold out), and their offense still seems pretty strong. So they should be all good there.

4. Lions- 3-13

Sorry Lions fans, but your schedule and your team as a whole isn't good enough to compete against the better opponents. You could push it to 4-12 or 5-11 if you win against Carolina which you could because of their defense being disintegrated. You could also pull an upset against the Packers too if you don't get cheated by dumb penalties. Your defense is going to have a pretty good secondary, but linebackers are going to have to up their play from last season. The D-line looks decent too. But, I still think the roster not quite good enough to go above .500 yet. Too many things have to happen in a good way quickly to be good. There is hope though.

My anaylst's predictions:

1. Packers: 11-5 (Makes playoffs)
2. Vikings: 10-6
3. Bears: 8-8
4. Lions: 4-12

This is the end of the post for today. Thanks for reading and see you in the next one.

Who will win? Nick Foles or Mitchell Trubisky

The answer is: Both.  Why I think this is because both have not been really good ever except for Foles in the playoffs for some reason. They both were bottom 10 QBs in like almost every stat.  Foles:  Strengths- Has been in the West Coast system before (and been very good) Can run RPOs He is familiar with the QB coach Can be accurate when there are wide open receivers (we Bears fans adore that. Other people wouldn't understand). Really good in the playoffs Weaknesses- Can be bad with a new team as we saw earlier in his career He is coming off being injured almost the entire season and has never played a full 16 game season Even when he came back he was benched for Minshew (Love that man) Trubisky:  Strengths- He can run the ball pretty darn well if he's given the chance (Watch the Cowboys vs Bears game) He didn't throw as many interception as last season (I know this is stupid, but still) He can throw on the run well He has been in this offense for more time than Fol...

Player that are hated or are looked at badly for NO REASON

"Pigskin"   by  Eric Kilby  is licensed under  CC BY-SA 2.0 Sadly, there are those players. The players that catch a lot of flak. But's its the reason that they catch it is very sad. The reason is: there is no reason. They are hated for no reason. These players are hated because of something I can't tell why. People just think their bad. Anyway, at least we're here for them, so on with the list. Allen Robinson Can someone please tell me why people don't think he's good enough. Even LADAINIAN TOMLINSON himself said that the Bears should move on from him (slamming my face into my desk). People have no respect for this guy. BUT, you must respect him. He was a top 15 WR at the least last year. This year, I see him being a top 10 (not only because I am a Bears fan) because he will have a motivated QB that is trying to keep his job. If they're smart, they'll throw it to him a good amount. If his play doesn't tell you, then his rank in the league for ...

One person to root for on every NFC North Team

Since there are no major injuries because people can't even play with each other in this current period of time we are living in, we will talk about something fun.  The NFC North. My favorite division that has some of the best players in the league such as Khalil Mack, A-Rod, Dalvin Cook, and Kenny Golladay when healthy. It is also in my opinion one the most competitive except for when they play the Lions (sorry Lions fans). But there will be those players that are unknown to most people, yet have so much potential to be great or are really good and don't get the recognition. So lets hop into it. Photo by Dylan Buell/Getty Images Bears: JP Holtz You all know will get to know that I love this guy because he has the mentality that everyone needs to have. Hard work and determination. He is an impressive blocker, and he can execute screens and catch passes when given the chance. You might want to refer to the Chargers vs Bears game when Holtz lined up in the backfield. Mr. Montgome...
