Hello, and welcome back to another article. We will be talking about the team that is getting too much attention of nothing, and who isn't getting enough attention at all. It's very very annoying to see some team that traded for a big star, and now they suddenly are hyped up. (hint hint). And then there is that team that looks ready to go, but it's not getting any attention. So, here is my take on that. Let's get to it.
Honorable mention for both sides:

This one is kind of an easy one. For any Cowboy fans out there, I'm very sorry, but an offense isn't going to carry you to the Super Bowl. You need a defense too. And the defense hasn't changed much. The defense last year was pretty bad. I think that's because Vander Esch was injured (who knows, with his injury history, it could be tough again). But even then, they are relying on a rookie corner who is not 100% ready to start, they have some OK starting safeties. Not great, but they will survive. Surviving against the Chiefs might be tough though with OK safeties. They do have good edge guys, but the interior lost a lot of depth in free agency. The interior is key to the edge rushers success because they are the unheralded guys taking and eating double teams. The only reason they will stay relevant is because their offense will carry them. But, that only will translate into maximum 8-9 wins. So, that's why they're overhyped. Bad defense+good offense= not very good record. (Additional facts: that O-line and Sean Lee aren't getting any younger).

You might be looking at this and thinking why. Just why (I see you leaving your computer). BUT, hear me out. We should start with their offense. Their offensive line could be an up and rising group to watch this season. Julio Jones. Matt Ryan is still playing at a high level. He may have not been as good as years past, but I think he can bounce back. They have Calvin Ridley who is very very promising. The TE group in my opinion stayed the same talent wise. Haden Hurst was just buried because Mark Andrews broke out and they needed Nick Boyle to block for their heavy option scheme. Todd Gurley may have lost a step, but there are plenty of RBs to choose from in free agency if Gurley doesn't pan out. And, we didn't even get to the defense. Admittedly, it's not very good. However, it got hot down the stretch, and Atlanta started to win games. I think if they can keep that going they could be very very dangerous. They won against the 49ers. Yes, you're reading that correctly. With that, I think we can move on. Moving on.

I don't get it. A lot of people and even professional football writers think they will do really really good. They think the Cardinals can go and win a lot of games. Now I'm not saying that they are bad. BUT. But, they must build that O-line and defense a little bit more and boom. There you go. But, that's not right now. Also, just because your offense is good, doesn't mean you will be able to win games. I think a good example would be the 2018 Pats. They had a really really good and efficient offense. The reason they lost the Super Bowl though was because of their defense. They let up 40+ points to Nick Foles. NICK FOLES. Yes he can get hot, but that's what you would expect from a HOF QB leading the team. Not a career journeyman backup/journeyman starter. Therefore, the Cards will not meet expectations. Also, I mentioned the O-line earlier. I saw decent performance, but honestly, I don't think I can give a clear picture because of multiple reason: they throw a lot of short screens and slants, they do a lot of RPOs, the Ravens blitzed a LOT so that film was not worth watching, and they ran the ball a lot outside (I have to say, Kenyan Drake can make stuff happen. Same with Mr. Murray). (Also, I think hype is very bad for this team. They were the talking point of mismanagement just because D Hop had a sore hamstring and stayed home and extra day or 2).

I really can't tell you what other people might feel. I know for a fact all Steelers fans are saying playoffs, but other's, I don't know. But, what I think is they are ready to explode. Everyone knows they couldn't explode last year because of Juju getting hurt, them having to switch QBs all the time, and their main RB James Connor being banged up (love his story though. If you don't, you are a cruel person). They did however reach the 8-8 mark only and ONLY because of that defense. By the way, does anyone know why people thought Minkah Fitzpatrick was bad? If you do, please tell me in the comments. With Big Ben looking like himself slinging it out there in training camp, I think they are going to be very dangerous. Let's take a look at the offense: Juju, Dionte Johnson, James Washington, Eric Ebron who could be dangerous with a HOF QB, and an O-line that's really really good. The defense doesn't need any talking. They do it with their playing. Moreover, their special teams is looking very solid. This team doesn't need any more hyping up from me.
Thanks for reading as always guys. It means a lot. Every single view. Please do follow and subscribe if you want. That would also mean a lot. Anyway, thanks again for reading and see you in the next one.
