NFL Talk for Week 5

Hello guys. Welcome to NFL Talk for week 5. A few teams remain undefeated and they are very impressive. Can they still do it? We shall see. Thanks for coming on and without further a do, lets get into this.

Big game picks:

Chargers Saints

That's about it. Not any real big or exciting games in week 5. Moving on.

Fantasy: (By the way, if you haven't picked up James Robinson, you should. Also pick up the Colts defense before anyone realizes.)

Justin Jefferson:

He is a BIG must. A Seahawks secondary that is down 3 starters and probably more. This is going to be a feast for the Vikings WRs. And it's also going to be a feast for Seattle in both the run and pass. So, everyone must get him. This is going to be one of those games where players on both sides have big games.

Kenyan Drake:

They are going against the Jets. This is too easy. BUT, the Cards should be careful after losing to the Panthers. But still, Drake should get started. The Jets probably will try some shenanigans on Kyler Murray if he keep the ball, so they should hand it off.

Darius Slayton:

This is a toss up. I am putting him in because I don't have any other option. But, it is Dallas, However, Danny Dimes has been throwing dimes to the secondary. So, I would be cautious. But, this Dallas secondary seems to be in loading mode while the other receivers go deep. So, I would put him in.

Players to shy away from:

David Montgomery:

This is very sad, but the Bucs defense is too good for the Bears. I could predict Matt Nagy's play calling and could call plays better than him (that is probably an exaggeration, but that's how it felt during the Colts game. If the Colts are bearing down on the run, you run play action. BUT, Coach Nagy decided, " Hmmmmmm, the Colts are bearing down on the run, and the pass lanes could have a chance, so let's run it." Reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee). I'm writing this section after the game, and his playcalling gets an A+++ this game. He wasn't trying to force anything. Just taking what is given.

Chargers RBs:

Yes I know Austin Ekeler is out and Mr. Kelly will take over and he has sneaky speed and the power to knock anyone over, but he's not Austin Ekeler. And, this Saints defense is nothing to scoff about even though they have struggled lately (mostly because of that secondary). Also, Justin Jackson could be someone to watch.

Anyone on the Broncos:

They are going against the greatest minds is football (wouldn't it be cool to meet him and learn his tricks) without their starting QB and about half their defense. Bill Belichick did lose Gilmore for the game, but he turned this guy named Damiere Byrd (who apparently runs a 4.28 40) into a legit deep threat. Before, he was a guy that didn't record above 360 yards receiving, now he is on pace to go for 716 yards. But back to the point, Bill Belichick will be FINE. And the Broncos won't be.

Slumping players that should wake up:

D-Hop: Week 4 stat line- 7 rec 41 yds

They are going against the Jets.

Ezekiel Elliot: Week 4 stat line-12 att 54 yds

He has been in a slump for 2 weeks now. Part of it can be attributed to the change in system to where they will pass more which isn't his strength. It's making the defense trying to tackle him look like they are holding on to him for dear life instead of trying to flatten him. He will come out on fire because they are playing the Giants. Arguably the 2nd worst team in the NFL.

Darrell Henderson: Week 4 stats line- 8 att 21 yds 1 rec

This was disappointing for fantasy players around the world (probably only the US, but you never know). But, they are going against the WFT. A team whose pass rush is very underrated, but somehow can't seem to defend the run with 5 first rounders on that D-line.

Thanks for reading as always. Every view means so much and thank you. Please follow my blog and have a great day. Thank you some much for reading and see you in the next one.

Who will win? Nick Foles or Mitchell Trubisky

The answer is: Both.  Why I think this is because both have not been really good ever except for Foles in the playoffs for some reason. They both were bottom 10 QBs in like almost every stat.  Foles:  Strengths- Has been in the West Coast system before (and been very good) Can run RPOs He is familiar with the QB coach Can be accurate when there are wide open receivers (we Bears fans adore that. Other people wouldn't understand). Really good in the playoffs Weaknesses- Can be bad with a new team as we saw earlier in his career He is coming off being injured almost the entire season and has never played a full 16 game season Even when he came back he was benched for Minshew (Love that man) Trubisky:  Strengths- He can run the ball pretty darn well if he's given the chance (Watch the Cowboys vs Bears game) He didn't throw as many interception as last season (I know this is stupid, but still) He can throw on the run well He has been in this offense for more time than Fol...

Player that are hated or are looked at badly for NO REASON

"Pigskin"   by  Eric Kilby  is licensed under  CC BY-SA 2.0 Sadly, there are those players. The players that catch a lot of flak. But's its the reason that they catch it is very sad. The reason is: there is no reason. They are hated for no reason. These players are hated because of something I can't tell why. People just think their bad. Anyway, at least we're here for them, so on with the list. Allen Robinson Can someone please tell me why people don't think he's good enough. Even LADAINIAN TOMLINSON himself said that the Bears should move on from him (slamming my face into my desk). People have no respect for this guy. BUT, you must respect him. He was a top 15 WR at the least last year. This year, I see him being a top 10 (not only because I am a Bears fan) because he will have a motivated QB that is trying to keep his job. If they're smart, they'll throw it to him a good amount. If his play doesn't tell you, then his rank in the league for ...

One person to root for on every NFC North Team

Since there are no major injuries because people can't even play with each other in this current period of time we are living in, we will talk about something fun.  The NFC North. My favorite division that has some of the best players in the league such as Khalil Mack, A-Rod, Dalvin Cook, and Kenny Golladay when healthy. It is also in my opinion one the most competitive except for when they play the Lions (sorry Lions fans). But there will be those players that are unknown to most people, yet have so much potential to be great or are really good and don't get the recognition. So lets hop into it. Photo by Dylan Buell/Getty Images Bears: JP Holtz You all know will get to know that I love this guy because he has the mentality that everyone needs to have. Hard work and determination. He is an impressive blocker, and he can execute screens and catch passes when given the chance. You might want to refer to the Chargers vs Bears game when Holtz lined up in the backfield. Mr. Montgome...
