So that almost wraps up week 4. There have been some ups and quite a few downs. Hopefully Chubb and Ekeler heal fast because they are humans and I hope them all the best. But also maybe 1% that I will be struggling in fantasy without them. Without further a do, lets get to it.
"19981213 44 Bears vs. Packers, Lambeau Field" by davidwilson1949 is licensed under CC BY 2.0NFC North:
Bears: The defense is great, the offense......... Foles must pick it up or else... Every Bears fan will go and break down Ryan Pace's door.
Packers: Jordon Love was definitely was the right pick. Aaron Rodgers has found his inner MVP form has awoken.
Vikings: It's ok. Just make it through the season and you can maybe possibly get a good defense next year. That's the only thing I can say.
Lions: Typical Lions.
1st quarter: Great start
2nd quarter: Let's think of a new way to lose
3rd quarter: Execute losing plan
4th quarter: Make it look like you weren't trying to lose by trying to get a TD.
NFC South:
Bucs: Tom Brady's arm is clearly not washed up. But, the O-Line in the other hand....
Saints: This is what happens when you don't have someone that can run slants and catch them all game. And also the reason Sean Payton hasn't lost his job.
Panthers: McCaffery? No. They need Mike Davis.
Falcons: Giving up 3 TDs to this undrafted TE out of Indiana. Typical Falcons. It's a waste writing about them because they are going against Aaron Rodgers.
"Eagles vs. 49ers" by Kevin Burkett is licensed under CC BY-SA 2.0NFC East (I'm sorry but it's just sad. The COWBOYS are tied with the WFT):
Eagles: Tying the Bengals was a great move, and clearly Carson Wentz is only good when he throws to practice squad receivers. Just look at last year.
WFT: Either switch to Kyle Allen or you'll be stuck next to the Cowboys (That's fun to say to a Cowboys fan). It's Ok Terry (McLaurin). Just a decade before the WFT can become good.
Cowboys: Dak is the only reason. That defense is about as reliable as Zoom calls on my Chromebook. That's not good.
Giants: Remember when we all thought Danny Dimes would be throwing dimes. He is... just to the other team.
"Loudest crowd roar at a sports stadium Seahawks-14" by PhilipRobertson is licensed under CC BY 2.0NFC West:
Seahawks: Chef Russ went from sous chef to executive chef. And it's working. They are making a profit. If they stop, their debt will catch up (their defense)
Rams: I think Sean McVay gave a call to the 49ers on how to go from bad to good. Because that offense and defense are scary.
Cards: Kyler Murray looks scared behind that offensive line... against a rebuilding Panthers? D-Hop isn't going to carry you every week.
49ers: Someone get this team some new doctors. Half their defense and their entire offense except their O-Line was injured. Don't worry. Coach Shanahan will get you out of last place (sounds weird to say).
AFC South:
Titans: I don't get it. The Bears get some close wins and are said to be bad. Yes they lost to the Colts, but I think that was a warm-up game for Foles. And when the Titans win some close games and they are seen as playoff contenders. AND.... they have an outbreak.
Colts: That defense is for real. And I've seen it live. (BUTTTT, that offense could struggle against good defenses.)
Jags: Minshew must get a bigger mustache. The magic must return. And a good team must be built. BTW, It's not Tank for Trevor. It's Poop for Penei.
Texans: That's what happens when you give someone a below market deal for a top 3 WR. Bye Bill O'Brien. Don't worry. He will most likely get a job somewhere else that's NOT a GM role.
AFC North:
Steelers: Big Ben is BACK. And has some nice toys. We didn't get a game, but that defense would make the Steel Curtain jealous.
Ravens: If only John Harbaugh could beat the Chiefs or really any game that matters a lot.
Browns: They almost pulled a Falcons, but didn't. Now you know who to call on when your team's running back is injured. A fisherman. No joke. That Johnson dude was a fisherman. But how. Those cuts and acceleration were so clean, I could watch them all day. OBJ is looking good... It only took 1 season and 3 games.
Bengals: Joe Burrow is the only reason this team won. But, that O-line, half of their LBs and secondary, and most of their WRs must go.
AFC West:
Chiefs: Spaghetti. That's the only thing I can say. Coach Spagnola is doing a great job with that defense. From one of the worst, to really good (just need to get better at the run). And we all know that offense. No need to talk about it.
Raiders: If only that defense could stop someone (it was Josh Allen, but still). Derek Carr is actually good.
Broncos: If only Lock could stay healthy. Buuuuutttt, Rypien (what a great name) played pretty well. If only Fangio's defense could stay healthy. Luckily, they played the Jets.
Chargers: Justin Herbert is on FIRE. I am very sorry for doubting you. But, that's one good defense and his own defense kinda let Tom Brady do his usual surgery of defenses in the 2nd quarter.
This is how Darnold feels
AFC East:
Bills: We all know what makes a good QB. It's the facial hair. That defense is starting to tighten up and that's not a good thing for other teams. Also, that preseason Madden with Diggs is working.
Pats: The Pats could have won. They could have. If they had Cam Newton or even started Stidham, I think they could have won, or made it a little closer. But, they didn't. Tough loss.
Dolphins: I wonder why there hasn't been a #FtizBeCooking because that's what he did the the to the Seahawks defense. He did throw 2 INTs though. That defense for Miami put up a good fight.
Jets: They are the Jets. GET MR. DARNOLD SOME HELP. HE PROBABLY WANTED TO GET APPENDICITIS LAST YEAR SO HE DIDN'T HAVE TO PLAY BEHIND THIS O-LINE. AND THIS DEFENSE ISN'T WORKING. AND NO, TAKING DIRTY SHOTS AT THE OPPOSING QB IS NOT THE ANSWER TO MAKING YOU FEEL BETTER. IT IS MAKING YOUR O-LINE GOOD AND MAKING A GOOD CULTURE HAPPEN.
By the way, my prediction for the Bucs vs Bears Game:
Bucs 27 Bears 20 :(
I am not saying I am an offensive genius, but I could call better plays than Coach Nagy. the only play I saw that worked was the 2 point conversion. Every other one was him doing the opposite of what he should have done. It was MAAADDDEENNINGGG. And that Bucs D is not much of a step down from the Colts. So.... ye.
Thanks for reading as always. Every view means so much and thank you. Please follow my blog and have a great day. Thank you some much for reading and see you in the next one.
