Week 7 overview

The time has come (cue the dramatic music), for Justin Herbert to TORCH the Jags. PICK HIM UP. I am telling you right now. Before the article. I picked him up on his bye week. That's how confident I am in him now. Not 6 weeks ago, but now I am confident he is the next big thing. Notice I didn't say Mahomes or Jackson. He is his own type. Mahomes is his own type, and Jackson is another breed. Herbert plays more traditionally with a pocket-presence like a statue, but with a flair of both Jackson and Mahomes. Anyway, enjoy guys. Big game picks: Eagles: 27 Giants: 23 This is the only interesting one I could find (other than the one below this and the Bears game). Like do we really expect the Broncos to be competitive against the Chiefs? (Maybe, who knows. Vic Fangio didn't get hired for nothing. But anyway, Carson Wentz will somehow burn the Giants because he has..... TRAVIS FULGHAM (I'm really high on him). The Giants did do some good things, but it won't be good eno

NFL reactions for week 6

"Pigskin"   by  Eric Kilby  is licensed under  CC BY-SA 2.0 Another week gone by, another post from me. And for the first time in a long time (I think), there was a shut out in the NFL. Not college, not high school, but the NFL. With the caliber of talent in the NFL, you would expect at ther VERY LEAST, a field goal. But nope, they missed that too (to be fair, Sam Ficken is pretty good and it was a 55 yarder). But, enough of that, let's get to it. NFC North: Bears: Either Nick Foles saved his best magic for the Bears, Chuck Pagano is REALLY REALLY good at defense, or it's all the prayers from the Bears fans while the games are going in because of how close the games are.  Packers: As a Bears fan, I feasted on Aaron Rodgers getting eaten by that D-line. I think football fans just felt bad for him though. Like that man was just oofed. His defense didn't do him many favors either (stop dropping Preston Smith in coverage. He will get burned in man by 90% of RBs).  L

NFL Talk for Week 5

"nfl-logo"   by  thisgetsold  is licensed under  CC BY-NC-SA 2.0 Hello guys. Welcome to NFL Talk for week 5. A few teams remain undefeated and they are very impressive. Can they still do it? We shall see. Thanks for coming on and without further a do, lets get into this.  Big game picks: Chargers Saints That's about it. Not any real big or exciting games in week 5. Moving on. Fantasy : (By the way, if you haven't picked up James Robinson, you should. Also pick up the Colts defense before anyone realizes.) Justin Jefferson: He is a BIG must. A Seahawks secondary that is down 3 starters and probably more. This is going to be a feast for the Vikings WRs. And it's also going to be a feast for Seattle in both the run and pass. So, everyone must get him. This is going to be one of those games where players on both sides have big games. Kenyan Drake: They are going against the Jets. This is too easy. BUT, the Cards should be careful after losing to the Panthers. But stil

Thoughts on every team after week 4

"Pigskin"   by  Eric Kilby  is licensed under  CC BY-SA 2.0 So that almost wraps up week 4. There have been some ups and quite a few downs. Hopefully Chubb and Ekeler heal fast because they are humans and I hope them all the best. But also maybe 1% that I will be struggling in fantasy without them. Without further a do, lets get to it. "19981213 44 Bears vs. Packers, Lambeau Field"   by  davidwilson1949  is licensed under  CC BY 2.0 NFC North: Bears: The defense is great, the offense......... Foles must pick it up or else... Every Bears fan will go and break down Ryan Pace's door. Packers: Jordon Love was definitely was the right pick. Aaron Rodgers has found his inner MVP form has awoken.  Vikings: It's ok. Just make it through the season and you can maybe possibly get a good defense next year. That's the only thing I can say. Lions: Typical Lions.  1st quarter: Great start 2nd quarter: Let's think of a new way to lose 3rd quarter: Execute losing pl

NFL Talk 1

Hello guys, welcome to another post from me. Sorry I haven't been posting lately, but high school grind has already started. So, I may not post every week, but I will try my hardest. Also this one will be a little short because I started this on Friday. I promise the other ones will be better.  Big game picks: Chiefs: 30 Pats: 23 If someone can stop the Ravens run game, they can stop any run game. Yes I know this is Bill Belichick and he's going to try to get creative with the running and most likely put RPOs and a lot of that. But, Tyrann Mathieu is not called the Honey Badger for his liking of honey. He will most likely shut it down. And L'Jarius Snead looks to be a steal. Pair that will a good Chiefs good defensive front, I think Bill Belichick will have some trouble (yes I know he is the GOAT of all coaches). I think the Chiefs are going to burn Gilmore, have Sammy Watkins underneath, or CEH doing to usual juking and insane acceleration (seriously, does that guy not hav
